Prince George’s new surname FINALLY revealed on school bag – and it’s not what you think
Prince George will ditch his family’s surname during his time at his new posh private school, it can be revealed.
An eagle-eyed snapper spotted the Prince’s alternate surname when they took a photo of the youngster’s bag as he arrived at Thomas’s Battersea with his dad, Prince William.
The four-year-old tyke will be known as George Cambridge to his classmates as he studies at the £17,604-a-year south-west London school.
As Wills left the school earlier today he confirmed the name change and said that George’s first day “went well”.
“The whole aim of these precious early years of education is to give children that confidence in who they are”

He said: “It went well. There was one other parent who had more of an issue with their children so I was quite pleased I wasn’t the one.”
Earlier today the four-year-old tyke was greeted at the gate by Helen Haslem, the headteacher of the lower school, before he joined his reception classmates.
He even managed to avoid having a tantrum – despite not being taken to school by his mum who is suffering from hyperemesis gravidium, as she did during her previous pregnancies.
While at the school George will learn French, drama and even ballet.
But headteacher Ben Thomas said the most important thing is that the future king learns to “be himself”.
He said: “The whole aim of these precious early years of education is to give children that confidence in who they are.
“So we are not going to try to mould him into any kind of particular person and we wouldn’t do that with any of our pupils.”
The royal family has had a busy few days this week, which was kickstarted by the announcement that Kate Middleton is pregnant for the third time.
