Will Meghan Markle Wear Same Perfume As Princess Diana At Her Wedding?
Fragrance experts are predicting the scent that Meghan Markle will wear on her May 19 wedding to Prince Harry.
There are speculations suggesting that the 36-year-old future royal will pay tribute to the late Princess Diana by wearing the same perfume she wore during her wedding to Prince Charles. However, Markle and Princess Diana may also have very different tastes when it comes to their favorite scents.
Jane Boardroom, the CEO of Talk PR, said that it is possible Markle will wear a Stella McCartney perfume to her wedding since it boasts of a floral scent. Elie Saab White’s perfume is also another option that Markle could go after on her wedding day. Alexis Vaganay, the general manager of Coty Luxury UK & Ireland said that the former “Suits” star can wear a perfume by Bottega Veneta, Burberry or Tiffany & Co.

Last year, it was reported that Princess Diana and Kate Middleton wore different scents at their respective weddings. This means that Markle may also choose her own perfume, and she may pay tribute to Princess Diana differently.
According to Marie Claire UK, Prince William and Prince Charles’ mom wore Quelques Fleurs by Houbigant Paris. A bottle of the perfume costs $100. In 2011, Middleton wore the White Gardenia Petals by Illuminum, and a bottle costs $150. The scent immediately became sold out afterwards.
In 1947, Queen Elizabeth II wed Prince Phillip, and even though their wedding was not televised, there are rumors suggesting that she wore White Rose by Floris to her big day. A bottle of the perfume costs $135. It seems that the queen and Middleton have more similar tastes when it comes to fragrances.
Meanwhile, Markle and Prince Harry will tie the knot at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle at 12 noon (7 a.m. EST) on May 19. At 1 p.m., the couple will undertake a carriage procession from the chapel through Windsor Town, and they will return to Windsor Castle along the Long Walk.
Reception will follow at St. George’s Hall for Markle, Prince Harry, as well as the guests from the congregation. Later that day, Prince Charles will host an evening reception for the couple, their family, and closest friends.
